This one is so good. We start by searing off and braising down really good chuck steak with beef cheeks added to make it extra indulgent and rich. Braised for a long time in lots of red wine, port and other yummy things until it squishes under a spoon. 

We shred the beef, reduce the braising liquor until it's nice, glossy and thick, and then mix it all back together with lyonnaise onion. 

Good carrots are browned in beef to give to add some bite and texture. 

Sweet, tasty and indulgent. Exactly how a pie should be.
